The Dallas Cochlear Implant Program accepts ADULTS, INFANTS and CHILDREN who have severe to profound hearing loss in both ears, who have no medical or other condition contraindicating implantation, and when hearing aids are simply not enough.

Cochlear implants have helped thousands of people of all ages gain or regain contact with the hearing world. Since 1986 our program has admitted over 400 people who are successfully implanted and followed as needed by our team of professionals.

The links on the left will lead you to all the information you need to help you make choices that are right for you and your family.

If you would like to discuss cochlear implants with the DCIP Medical Director Dr. Peter Roland or a cochlear implant specialist please call for a cochlear implant evaluation at our medical clinic, The James W. Aston Ambulatory Care Clinic, at 214-645-8855. Ask for Kim or Cindy.

If you prefer using the Relay Texas to communicate with us please click here for instructions.

The Aston Clinic is located in the heart of the Dallas metroplex on the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center campus. You can find a map of the area here.
