Research is the foundation upon which the Dallas Cochlear Implant Program stands. Internationally acclaimed scientists conduct sponsored research at The University of Texas at Dallas and The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center with current combined research dollars amounting to over $10 million.

The DCIP serves as a bridge between these sister institutions, enhancing both by providing access to each other's resources through shared grants, contracts and other sources of funding. Improving the quality of life of those served through research is at the core of the DCIP mission.
